King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden is visiting Ukraine

King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden is visiting Ukraine for the first time in 18 years.
In Lviv, the monarch has already met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This is the Swedish king’s first visit to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war. The 80-year-old monarch is accompanied by a delegation led by Sweden’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The agenda of the visit includes visits to schools and hospitals in Lviv “to gain insight into the experience of war.”
King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden began his visit to Ukraine by honoring our fallen warriors together with me. We are deeply grateful for this gesture of respect.
