The European People's Party has issued a message on the ocassion of the111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide."Today, we stand alongside the Armenian people in remembrance and solidarity. ??
We have a duty to uphold their memory with dignity and to persist in the pursuit of justice.
We urge Turkey to confront the truth of the past and to engage in sincere steps towards reconciliation, opening a path to a more peaceful and shared future".
