Today, British Ambassador Alexandra Cole paid tribute at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, laying flowers in memory of the Armenian victims.
“The terrible suffering inflicted on Armenians, through massacres and other crimes between 1914–1921, which we commemorate today, was a horrific tragedy.
It is important to acknowledge this suffering and to remember those who endured it, as we work towards a peaceful and stable future for Armenia and the wider region.” noted she.
