Death toll from fire at commercial complex near Tehran rises to 11

The number of fatalities from a major fire west of Iran’s capital has climbed to 11, with dozens more wounded, local authorities reported on Wednesday. The blaze broke out Tuesday evening at the Arghavan complex in Phase 4 of Andisheh, a town near Tehran, according to Shahriar Governor Sajjad Baranji as cited by Mehr News Agency. The multi-story structure housed more than 250 retail units and 50 office spaces.
