Iranian president says oil industry maintained stability during war

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian praised the country’s oil industry for maintaining uninterrupted fuel supplies and production during the recent wartime conditions, while assigning two strategic missions to the Oil Ministry focused on energy management and petrochemicals reform.
Speaking at a specialised meeting with senior Oil Ministry officials, Pezeshkian said the sector had played a critical role in preventing disruptions to the country’s production cycle and fuel distribution network despite heightened regional tensions․
The president commended the “round-the-clock efforts” of managers, engineers and workers across the oil industry, saying their work had ensured the continued stability of Iran’s energy supplies under sensitive circumstances.
Pezeshkian also instructed the Oil Ministry to pursue two strategic priorities aimed at improving the management of energy resources and reorganising the country’s gas allocation system.
