NATO is monitoring the exercises of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the preparation and use of nuclear forces. This was announced on May 20 by the Secretary General of the alliance Mark Rutte at a press conference in Brussels.
The press conference was held on the eve of the meeting of the heads of the NATO Ministries of Foreign Affairs, which starts on Thursday, May 21 and will last until Friday, May 22.
"As for these exercises, of course, we are monitoring this, we are monitoring what is happening," he said.
The nuclear exercises of the Russian Armed Forces began a day earlier and will continue until May 21.
