Saakashvili: Dear Armenian neighbors, don't repeat the mistake of Georgia

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili made a post on his Facebook page addressing the domestic political developments in Armenia and compared Samvel Karapetyan to Ivanishvili.
"Samvel Karapetyan is an Armenian Ivanishvili. I think Armenians know what Ivanishvili brought to Georgia - it is a dictatorship based on corruption, crime, plundering of national wealth, mass political repressions, limitations on freedom of expression on Social Media, international isolation, and slavery to Moscow.
Dear Armenian neighbors, is that the kind of country you want to have? Don't repeat the mistake of Georgia, however critical you might be towards the existing government.
Georgia also stayed without Russian gas, but bought it from other neighbors for a much lower price. Armenia can do the same.
Now that you are supported by both Europe and America, don't waste this chance and don't freeze yourself out of the world.
As Georgia's very sad precedent shows, a vote for an oligarch and against Pashinyan would be absolutely suicidal, and I count on the wisdom of your great nation, that you would never make such a step.
Long live Armenia!" wrote he.
