Iran's Foreign Ministry explained the Supreme Leader's absence from public view

The Iranian foreign minister made this statement in an interview with the Lebanese television channel Al-Mayadeen. He stated that despite the lack of public appearances, the Supreme Leader is actively involved in governing the country and influences developments in the country. "He is very closely involved in the country's affairs and influences its developments while holding the reins of power. However, for security reasons, the relevant authorities advise against his frequent public appearances," Araghchi stated. The minister also noted that the Iranian government maintains constant communication with the Supreme Leader.
