China has announced plans to open the world’s first hotel operated entirely by robots, marking a major step toward fully automated hospitality.
The hotel, located in Guangdong Province, is scheduled to open in 2027 and will be managed by Pudu Robotics.
The hotel will rely on robots to handle all major services, including reception, room service, housekeeping, food preparation, and guest assistance.
The project builds on Pudu’s experience deploying service robots in retail, restaurants, and commercial cleaning, expanding automation to a complete hotel operation.
