Nikol Pashinyan to attend Iran’s leader’s funeral ceremony

As preparations continue for the funeral ceremonies of Iran’s late leader, reports indicate that a number of senior officials and high-ranking delegations from across the region are expected to attend the events, which will be held over several days in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and parts of Iraq.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is set to travel to Iran for the occasion, WANA reports.
According to the official schedule, the public farewell ceremony will begin at 6:00 a.m. on July 4 at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla and continue until 8:00 p.m. on July 5. Funeral prayers will be held on the morning of July 5. Following the ceremonies in Tehran, Qom, and Iraq, the late leader will be laid to rest in Mashhad on Thursday, July 9.
