At Least 25 Deaths in US Believed Caused by Extreme Heat

At least 25 people are believed to have died from heat-related causes across the United States, from the Deep South to the Midwest to the East Coast, 22 of them in New Jersey, NBC news channel reported on Sunday. NBC reported, citing New Jersey health official Dalya Eweis, that the number of heat-related deaths in the northeastern state rose from 19 to 22 on Saturday.
