Iran says it targeted US base in Jordan with ballistic missiles

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said it targeted a US military base in Jordan with ballistic missiles, while the US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the attack but claimed that all missiles were intercepted.

According to Iran’s ISNA news agency, the IRGC Aerospace Force said it fired several ballistic missiles at a US air base and a Central Command facility in Jordan in response to American military actions.

The IRGC said: “As long as threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran continue and illegal and hostile actions by US forces against our interests persist, resistance will continue.”
