A fire broke out at a logistics warehouse in Tuzla industrial zone in Türkiye's Istanbul early morning, with the cause of the blaze not immediately known.
Police officers, ambulance crews and firefighters from 10 districts were dispatched to the scene after the emergency alert was received, according to TRT Haber.
The flames spread from the logistics warehouse to a neighboring timber warehouse, an adjacent factory and a wooded area, prompting emergency crews to continue intensive firefighting operations.
The situation was further complicated by chemicals stored inside the warehouse. Small explosions could be heard intermittently as firefighters battled the blaze.
