The United States demands that foreign students taking online courses leave the country

This is stated in the message of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).Students having visas F-1 and M-1 will be subject to restrictions. The report also says that students whose schools decide to switch to online education will not be issued visas, they will also not be allowed into the country.To stay in the United States, students can transfer to another educational institution, where classes are held offline. “If not, they may face immigration consequences including, but not limited to, the initiation of removal proceedings,” the ICE statement reads. An exception will also be made for students of schools, where at least part of the courses are taken in person. |
