The USA again broke the record for the number of new cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection detected per day – on July 16, 77.3 thousand infected were recorded, which is higher than on any other day for the entire epidemic. This is evidenced by data collected by the Johns Hopkins University project.
