The city Hall is fully illuminated with the colors of the Armenian flag
1400 Thursday, 15 October, 2020, 10:15 Tonight, City Hall is aglow in the colors of the flag of the Republic of Artsakh to vividly demonstrate Los Angeles's solidarity with the Armenian people. I joined the All-ASA: All-Armenian Student Association to speak against Azeri and Turkish aggression, and together we demanded sustainable peace in Artsakh. Six years ago, here in City Hall, the City of Los Angeles recognized the independent, democratic Republic of Artsakh. On September 27, Azerbaijan’s military launched an unprecedented, unprovoked attack on Artsakh and Armenia. The attacks are instigated by Turkey, who is supplying Syriana and Libyan terrorist mercenaries. For the past 17 days the civilian population of Artsakh has been terrorized in what is a humanitarian crisis. The United States government and the Trump Administration must act now. |
