Groups of immediate reaction went to Police departments. Human Rights Defender

Guided by the calls received by the staff of Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, including right defender Nina Karapetyants’ call, groups of immediate reaction went to Police departments for the purpose of defending the people’s rights who had been apprehended from Yerevan Municipality.
The citizens who have been apprehended during the demonstration against the construction of apartment building in ''Physgorodok'' will be inquired privately, the reasons of their apprehension will be studied. Human Rights Defender of the RA has made this announcement on his Facebook page.
Reminder: Residents of ''Physgorodok'' continue the demonstration in front of Yerevan Municipality. They demand a meeting with mayor Hayk Maroutyan. Earlier mayor announced that they were discussing the issue and they would do their best to ensure truth, justice and transparency.
