Actions in support of Ukraine will be held in 25 European cities

On February 18-20, 25 European cities will host the campaign European Day of Solidarity: STAND WITH UKRAINE. This was stated by the campaign coordinator, head of the Austrian NGO Unlimited Democracy Anna Pattermann, informs Ukrinform on Thursday, February 17.

''Rallies as part of the global campaign European Day of Solidarity: STAND WITH UKRAINE in support of Ukraine, its independence and sovereignty will be held from February 18 to 20, most of them on Saturday. In general, the anthem of Ukraine will be heard, and the national flag will fly in 25 European cities from London to Lisbon,'' Pattermann said.

“Our simultaneous speech will show the whole world that Ukraine is an important part of Europe. We want to emphasize that now we are talking not only about the democratic future of Ukraine, but about the security of the entire European continent. The entire civilized world should now take the side of Ukraine and condemn Russian military preparations.We want to say: ''Please do not turn a blind eye to the struggle of Ukrainians for democracy and freedom!''– added the coordinator.

Demonstrations in support of Ukraine will be held in Austria (Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg), Belgium (Brussels), Cyprus (Paphos), Germany (Berlin, Chemnitz, Dusseldorf, Freiburg, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Mainz and Munich) , France (Paris and Strasbourg), Eel (Budapest), Slovakia (Bratislava), Latvia (Riga), Poland (Poznan), Portugal (Lisbon, Algarve, Porto), Great Britain (London).
