The Nobel Committee refused to extend the terms of the nomination because of Zelensky

The charter does not allow extending the deadline for nominating candidates for the Nobel Prize, the head of the Nobel Institute said. Earlier, European politicians asked to reopen the acceptance of applications for the nomination of Zelensky.

Zelensky was nominated for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize on March 18 by former and current European politicians. They also announced the need for this to extend the deadline for nominating candidates for the award until March 31.
