The passenger transportation has increased in Armenia

''Joghovurd'' daily writes: ''According to the data of the Statistic Committee of RA, in the four months of this year passenger services have increased in the RA by 4.1 per cent. The volume of car transport has increased by 45 per cent in the mentioned period. By the way, taxis are also included in road transport, the volumes of passenger transportation, conducted by which, have reduced by 20.2 per cent, as compared to January-February of 2021. So, 517 thousand 700 people have used taxi on January-April of this year, the volumes of plane transportation have increased by 92.6 per cent, mainly at the expense of tourists, emigrants from Armenia. We have found out that the passenger transportation by electric transport has increased by 23.5 per cent. We are talking about the Yerevan Metro. The rise of the volume of passenger transportation by metro is possibly due to the fact that there are traffic jams in the capital and there is no such a problem in the case of metro''.
