Germany to supply Ukraine with Mars II MLRS and Panzerhaubitze 2000 artillery mounts

More PzH2000s and MARSIIs will be handed over to Ukraine in the next few weeks,” the ministry said in a statement. The exact amount of equipment that is planned to be transferred to Kyiv is not indicated. In total, Germany plans to supply Kyiv with four such air defense systems. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz pointed outthat one such installation can protect “a large city from Russian air attacks.” By data Der Spiegel, guided missiles of the complex can shoot down air targets at a distance of up to 40 km and at an altitude of up to 20 km.
