German president to arrive in Israel on Sunday
7645 Saturday, 25 November, 2023, 21:24 German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to arrive in Israel on Sunday. During his visit, he will tour kibbutzim near the southern border, including Kibbutz Be'eri and Kfar Aza, and meet with families of the abducted individuals. Steinmeier is expected to also hold meetings with President Isaac Herzog and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana. The German president stated that he is coming to Israel "to reaffirm ongoing solidarity with Israel as a victim of terrorism and as a nation fighting back." |
