Iran ready to attack Mossad
1638 Wednesday, 14 August, 2024, 14:00 Iranian broadcaster Press TV reports that Iran may strike the headquarters of Israel's Mossad intelligence service in Tel Aviv. The attack to avenge the deaths of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Fuad Shukr in Beirut could be directed against the Kirya area, the government complex in central Tel Aviv. Other possible targets cited by Press TV include the Palmachim kibbutz, the Tel Nof and Sdot Micha air and missile bases, and the operational headquarters of the military intelligence unit 8200. Meanwhile, explosions were reported Tuesday near two merchant ships off the coast of Yemen, two maritime security agencies said, adding that there were no injuries or damage. The US military's Central Command (Centcom) for the Middle East declared for its part that it had "destroyed two Houthi ships in the Red Sea". |
