Ukrainian Forces may withdraw from Pokrovsk: a company commander outlines conditions

Currently, it is difficult to predict whether the Russian occupying army will advance into Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
This was stated by "Liutyi," the company commander of the 68th Separate Jager Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, in an interview with "Radio Svoboda".
According to him, it is hard to estimate how much time the enemy might need to approach the city closely, as it depends on many factors. However, if the enemy manages to enter Pokrovsk, the Defense Forces may have to withdraw.
"I don’t know how much time they’ll need to enter Pokrovsk. But when they enter a populated area, chaos ensues... It will be much harder to fight in an urban environment... There will be constant logistical challenges because it’s very difficult to control the enemy’s movements between buildings," "Liutyi" says.
Additionally, the Russians are actively using drones. For this reason, he believes, in order to avoid heavy losses, the defenders may have to retreat.
"I don’t think the defense of the city will last long," the military officer remarked.
