Czechia suspends granting citizenship to Russian nationals
![]() 1135 Friday, 07 February, 2025, 13:20 Czech President Petr Pavel signed a bill prohibiting Russian citizens from obtaining Czech citizenship, according to a message on the president's website. Since July 3, 2024, Czechia does not recognize non-biometric Russian passports. Russian citizens holding such documents are no longer able to reside legally in the country. |
