The Palestinian movement Hamas has stated its readiness to hand over control of the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian National Authority and the government commission, according to a report by Sky News Arabia․
According to the source, Hamas has set conditions for handing over power to the Palestinian National Authority.
These conditions include the need to maintain jobs for employees in the new government or provide them with retirement benefits and guaranteed salary payments.
Earlier, the US called peace in Gaza impossible as long as Hamas is able to govern the enclave.
Also, Al Qahera News wrote that Hamas will not participate in governing Gaza in the near future.
