Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed “three years of resistance, three years of gratitude” and “three years of absolute heroism” as Ukraine marked the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion on Monday.

The head of state also called that difficult period years of support, unity and help.
“I am proud of Ukraine. I am grateful to all those who protect it and help it, to all those who work for Ukraine.

Eternal memory to all who stood up in defense of our state and our people, giving their lives so that Ukraine may live.

Eternal gratitude to the fallen heroes—the gratitude of Ukraine, the gratitude of all free nations.

“Three years of full-scale war is a very long time, but the Ukrainian people have defended their right to independence and to a state of their own”, the video voiceover said.
