Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a press conference in Doha, when asked about Russia's position on the deployment of European peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, said that any option of deploying troops in Ukraine cannot be discussed.
Lavrov quoted Trump's statement that the issue of deploying peacekeeping troops in Ukraine should be acceptable to both sides in the conflict.
In this case, "nobody asked us about it," Lavrov said, adding that the approach that implies the need to deploy peacekeepers is aimed only at fueling the conflict.
"We cannot come to an agreement the only goal of which is to re-arm Ukraine," Lavrov said
