Peskov: "The US is not a friendly country for us"

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's religiosity does not make the US a friendly country with common values ​​for Russia, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Rubio appeared with a cross painted with ashes on his forehead, symbolizing the beginning of Lent.

"No, the US is not a friendly country for us at the moment, the US is the country with which we are now trying to revive, restore bilateral relations," Peskov noted, answering questions from the press.
