Following the signing of an agreement between the new Syrian authorities and the Kurds living in the country, Turkey launched a series of airstrikes on the Tishreen Dam and the Karakozak Bridge in northern Syria, which are controlled by the Kurds.
The Kurds believe that Ankara does not approve of this agreement.
Clashes between government forces and the resistance continued overnight south of Tartus on the border with Lebanon.
Israel carried out more than 40 airstrikes overnight on villages in the Syrian provinces of Daraa, Quneitra and Damascus. Barracks and bases were destroyed during the attack.
