Zakharova: "Zelensky and NATO countries of Europe do not want peace"

Vladimir Zelensky and the European NATO countries that support him do not want peace. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"We note with regret that some political forces in Europe continue to undermine the newly emerging process, which in the long term could lead to a settlement. But even now the words "peace", "settlement" make them grit their teeth, because their main goal, of course, is to escalate the situation and massacre," the diplomat noted.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated that Ukraine wants peace, and that he is very serious about this issue.

"Now everything depends on Russia," Zelensky emphasized.
