Last night, protests continued in various cities of Turkey, which the police tried to disperse. And in the morning, the arrests of protesters continued.
Participants in marches and rallies demand the release of the arrested Ekrem Imamoglu, who was removed from his post as mayor of Istanbul, as well as the resignation of the Turkish government.
Recall that on March 19, the Turkish authorities arrested the opposition mayor of Istanbul and Erdogan's main rival Ekrem Imamoglu on charges of corruption and links to terrorism. Imamoglu rejected all charges brought against him.
