"We must continue negotiations with Azerbaijan, there is no alternative" - Ararat Mirzoyan
![]() 504 Tuesday, 25 March, 2025, 16:15 Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan reminded his Iranian counterpart at a press conference that after the text of the peace agreement was agreed upon, Armenia offered Azerbaijan to start consultations to determine the date and place of signing the document. “At the moment, we have not heard such a willingness from official Baku; Azerbaijan imagines other preconditions for signing the peace agreement,” the Foreign Minister said, noting that we must continue to work, negotiate and find mutually acceptable, dignified solutions that will ensure sustainable peace. “There is simply no alternative. At the moment, yes, there is no understanding of where and when the agreement should be signed. We are ready to get involved in that process as soon as possible and put our signature,” Ararat Mirzoyan said. |
