NATO begins large-scale exercises
![]() 575 Monday, 31 March, 2025, 10:57 NATO member states are starting a large-scale air force exercise called "Ramstein Flag 2025" on Monday, the alliance announced. The exercise, which will last until April 11, will involve 90 military aircraft from 15 NATO countries. The flights will be conducted from 12 NATO air bases in Europe. The operations will be controlled from Leeuwarden Air Base in the Netherlands. “Ramstein Flag 2025 is a multi-role exercise designed to train and demonstrate combined warfare skills and joint air and missile defense,” the U.S. Air Forces in Europe said in a statement. |
