Trump imposes 10 percent tariff on imports from Armenia
![]() 2489 Thursday, 03 April, 2025, 09:57 US President Donald Trump has announced new tariffs on imports. According to him, the US is imposing a 20 percent tariff on goods from the EU. At the same time, the US leader noted that Washington is imposing tariffs on all countries on a reciprocal basis. “This is a declaration of our economic independence,” Trump said. According to him, the US will use the money generated from the tariffs “to reduce taxes and pay down the national debt.” It should be noted that a 10 percent tariff will apply to imports of goods from Azerbaijan and Armenia. A 25 percent tariff on imported cars will also come into force on April 3. |
