US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the US will continue to play an active role in NATO, and Washington wants the alliance to become stronger.
"The US has always played an active role in NATO, US President Donald Trump is not against NATO, he is against NATO, which does not have the necessary capabilities," Rubio said.
Rubio also said that at the meeting in Brussels he would demand that each NATO country commit to increasing military spending to 5% of GDP.
