Vance: "Musk will remain in the US administration"

Elon Musk, who oversees the work of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has not yet finished his work in the US administration and will serve as an advisor to the administration. This was announced by US Vice President J.D. Vance.
“That’s absolutely false news,” Vance told Fox News in response to media reports that Musk was stepping down.
“Elon joined the US administration, and we told him that we need to cut down on an unprecedented amount of bureaucracy that is against the will of the American people and is very expensive. We said it would take six months, and he agreed, but of course he will continue to work as an advisor, and by the way, DOGE still has a lot of work to do,” the US vice president noted.
“Elon will remain not only my friend, but also an advisor to both me and the president,” he added.
Earlier, Politico reported that Trump had told his inner circle that Musk would be leaving office in the coming weeks.
