A meeting of representatives of Israel and Turkey was held in Azerbaijan.
According to APA, sources in the Turkish Ministry of National Defense reported this.
Yesterday, a technical meeting of representatives of Turkey and Israel was held in Azerbaijan to prevent unwanted incidents in Syria, in order to create a de-escalation mechanism.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stressed that this does not mean normalization of relations with Israel.
In early April, the Israeli Air Force struck the Syrian Hama and Al-Tiyas air bases, where Turkey planned to deploy its forces. The attack was carried out at the very moment when the Turkish command was preparing to send its specialists to the bases to assess the technical condition of the facilities.
