Helicopter crash in Hudson River kills all 6 aboard
![]() 1563 Friday, 11 April, 2025, 09:33 Six people, including three children, were killed after a helicopter carrying a family of tourists crashed into the Hudson River in New York, authorities have said. The family of five was from Spain and the sixth person was the pilot, New York City Mayor Eric Adams told reporters on Thursday. All were onboard the helicopter at the time of the crash. The New York Post, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, writes that the head of the Spanish branch of the German concern Siemens, Agustin Escobar, died in a helicopter crash along with his family. The cause of the crash is under investigation. |
