25 people killed in lightning strike in India

At least 25 people have been killed in lightning strikes in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, the Press Trust of India news agency reported.
According to a statement issued by the state government, 18 people were killed in the Nalanda district, while several more were killed in other districts.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav, a leader of a local political party, said on social media that the storm had killed more than 50 people in the region on April 10.
