Iran-US talks in Oman have ended

The talks between Iran and the United States in Oman have ended, Tasnim news agency reported.
Earlier, it was reported that during indirect talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff in the Omani capital Muscat, the parties discussed a certain easing of sanctions on Tehran in exchange for restrictions on Iran's nuclear program, Reuters news agency reported.
According to the source, the consultations between Iranian and US representatives were also aimed at easing tensions in the region and organizing a prisoner exchange.
According to Tasnim news agency, the talks were held in a positive atmosphere.
