During the conversation, the Israeli prime minister strongly rejected the idea of creating a Palestinian state, stressing that such a decision would be a significant incentive for terrorism, Netanyahu's office reported. "A Palestinian state created next to Israeli settlements would become a springboard for Iranian terrorism," Netanyahu said. According to him, the overwhelming majority of Israelis are categorically against such a prospect. Earlier, Macron announced that France may recognize the state of Palestine in June. |
