"Senior diplomats in Paris, London and Berlin have been racking their brains over how to try to restore the badly damaged relations between Trump and Zelensky," the publication said.

In addition, according to Politico, French diplomats acted as intermediaries in agreeing on the text of the "conciliatory letter" from the head of the Kiev regime to the US president. During the meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office of the White House on February 28, a verbal altercation took place.
