15 killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza

The death toll from Israeli shelling of tents for displaced persons in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip has risen to over 15, the Civil Defense Authority of the Palestinian semi-exclave said.
"The bodies of more than 15 victims, most of them women and children, have been recovered after an Israeli attack on tents for displaced persons in Mawasi in Khan Yunis," the Gaza Civil Defense said in a statement.
The Israel Defense Forces resumed strikes on the Gaza Strip overnight on March 18. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attacks continued because the Palestinian Hamas movement refused to accept the US plan to extend the ceasefire and free the hostages.
