"The plan to deploy a multinational peacekeeping force in Ukraine is madness" - Zakharova

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova called the French and British plan for a "multinational peacekeeping contingent" deployed in Ukraine insane.
"Despite all their efforts, Paris and London still cannot achieve unity of support for the insane plan they are promoting to deploy in Ukraine, as they have formulated it, a "multinational peacekeeping contingent" consisting of units from a number of NATO member countries," the diplomat said during a briefing.
According to her, most of the "coalition" participants doubt the feasibility of this military intervention without US support.
"Washington still does not intend to get involved in such an adventure. In general, apparently, realistically understanding where all this will lead," she added.
