US officials will discuss ways to establish a ceasefire in Ukraine with European counterparts in Paris, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said on Fox News.
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in Paris now to urgently discuss the situation with his European counterparts,” Bruce said.
According to him, US President Donald Trump is determined to end the war.
“What is happening is unacceptable. The world wants this to end. There are no winners in this conflict,” he stressed.
Bruce added that Ukraine has already expressed a desire for a ceasefire, and the United States, including the State Department and Secretary of State Marco Rubio himself, is working to ensure that partners in Europe understand “the urgency of the issue.”
