US President Donald Trump said in an interview with NBC News that EU leaders have repeatedly asked him to call Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Do you know how many times EU leaders have asked me to call Putin? Because he doesn't answer their calls," Trump said.
According to him, Putin "didn't call them back".
"You know, I asked him (Putin) if Biden had called you at least once in three years. He said, Biden never called," the US president noted.
The head of the White House had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart on February 12 and March 18.
