EU Foreign Ministers Arrive in Ukraine to Celebrate Europe Day

EU foreign ministers and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaia Kallas have arrived in Lviv to celebrate Europe Day, Kallas wrote about this on her social media page.
"Today, we celebrate Europe Day with Ukraine and its people.
Because in a family, both joys and hardships are shared.
Together with Foreign Ministers, we stand united with Ukraine for a lasting peace. For the future we believe in", Kallas wrote on X.
Earlier, Kallas said that EU foreign ministers would announce €1 billion in aid to Ukraine for weapons production during their visit to Kyiv on May 9.
"While Putin is expected to mark the day with a major celebration in Moscow — celebrating what Russia calls its "Victory Day" — the EU ministers will stand with Ukraine, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot earlier announced.
