Lavrov: "New negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will be announced in the near future"

A new round of talks between Russia and Ukraine will be announced soon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
“When the talks resumed in Istanbul on May 16, we insisted on the abolition of all these discriminatory laws and will continue to do so at the next round of direct talks, which we will announce in the near future,” Lavrov said.
The minister stressed that Moscow has always, years before and after the special operation, presented and continues to present to Kiev proposals to resolve the issues through dialogue and diplomacy. According to him, the problems are becoming more serious.
On May 22, Lavrov called the fact that the second round of direct Russian-Ukrainian talks would take place a “positive signal.” At that time, the minister noted that there were still no details about the new meetings and that the idea of talks between Russia and Ukraine in the Vatican was “unrealistic.”
