Israel has destroyed the last Yemenia Airways plane operating at Sanaa International Airport, the capital of Yemen, which is under the control of the Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, in an airstrike. This was announced by the airport’s director general, Khaled al-Shayef.
“The Zionist enemy has struck the last Yemenia Airways plane operating at Sanaa International Airport, completely destroying it,” al-Shayef wrote in X.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces press service reported that the Israeli army attacked Sanaa International Airport and planes belonging to the Ansar Allah movement. According to the Israeli side, “the planes were used by the Houthis to transport terrorists planning attacks on Israelis.”
